Nigel Farage: Brimming over with bile and booze

The UKIP MEP and lounge bar lizard has a few scores to settle and is set on rattling the Establishment at the election

Nigel Farage
Nigel Farage

I’m quite relieved that Nigel Farage MEP has only one testicle
[One must assume he was born a Pawn Broker rather than a Porn Maker as he had testicular cancer when 19 and again at 22 - unless one is indeed cosmetic, which begs the question who sires his children!]
.
When the former leader of the UK Independence party (UKIP) had the other removed in 1987 because of cancer, the doctors offered him an artificial replacement to give him “greater social confidence”. But to watch him screaming at Herman Van Rompuy as he did last month, saying the European council president had the “charisma of a damp rag”, tearing around with a loudhailer on his campaign to oust John Bercow, the Commons Speaker, from his Buckingham seat, working “100-hour weeks”, inhaling whole packs of Rothmans and choffing down hundreds and hundreds of pints, I dread to think what he would be like with ... two.

“Amaaaaaaazing, isn’t it?” he says, swivelling in his chair in the MEPs’ offices in central London and spreading his pinstriped legs as far as they’ll go. At 45, he has the complexion of a used teabag. “I’ve got the unhealthiest lifestyle of the lot, but the most energy! I left home at 5am on Monday, got up at 4.30 this morning . . .”

Somewhere between Alan B’Stard and a frog — “actually, I think I look most like President Medvedev” — Farage has carved something of a niche for himself as a mouthy, brash agent provocateur.
[An Oik - in common parlance, how right she is!]
His recent explosion in the European parliament, in which he also told Van Rompuy that he had “the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk”, got him fined £2,700 and 40,000 hits on YouTube; most people thought he went too far.
poc. c/o LA Times & Joe Bush
CLEARLY MORE MONKEY THAN ORGAN GRINDER

“Too far”, however, is not in the Farage lexicon. “All my speeches are like that! I’ve been doing that for 11 years. Look, I’m a . . .” — he gropes for a sufficiently weighty epithet — “veteran.” In fact, Nicolas Sarkozy absolutely loved the Faraging he got when they spoke in the EU parliament in 2008, even invited him to the Elysée Palace afterwards. “Sarko spent much more time with me than any of the other politicians, because he’d actually enjoyed it,” he says, voice rising to a shout. “He loved it.”

 They Do Say:
The higher up the tree the monkey climbs
The more you see its Rs

Camila Long has made that VERY clear
& HE STILL HAS TWO

Still, “perhaps my delivery is a little shrill at times”, he concedes, twiddling his Spitfire cufflinks, “but [over the Van Rompuy affair] the parliament responded by fining me and questioning my right to speak freely”.

Er, abusively.

“I don’t think it was abusive. I was right!” he says. “Who is Herman Van Rompuy? Baroness Ashton [the EU high representative for foreign affairs] is even less well known. She never held elected office. She obviously ... married well.”

So, an inside job, because her husband, Peter Kellner, is an old friend of Tony Blair? “Of course it is! I very much doubt she’s up to doing it. But the highest-paid female politician in the world is not going to resign.”
WELL THE MEEJA SEEM TO HAVE HIS MEASURE!

He’s got a point, but I do wish he wouldn’t deliver it so odiously. But then,
Farage is pretty odious: a shifty saloon-bar lizard
. He stood down as UKIP leader last June — “the internal fights took up so much time” — to focus on being an MEP for the party. A rather odd task, representing a party in the European parliament whose sole desire is to get Brtitain out of the EU, but he has been fairly successful in raising awareness. Still, the operation overall has been typically amateur. Last November one of its MEPs, Tom Wise, was jailed for taking advantage of the generous EU expenses.

“I knew he was rotten within a fortnight,” boasts Farage now
[Yet it is an irrefutable FACT that he took absolutely no meaningful action except use some of the stolen money to settle one of his own debts! Tom Wise remained an MEP & Party member for several more years with Farage's support!]

although in a highly uncharacteristic episode of self-censorship, he initially kept his suspicions quiet, “because I didn’t know what he was doing, although I could just ... tell”. He “jolly well hope[s]” there aren’t any more wrong ’uns — but he’s been looking out for signs, which are “obvious”, he declares. “The six o’clock freebie cocktail party in the main reception area. If you see UKIP MEPs attending them on a regular basis you think, ‘Eh, what’s going on?’”

I wonder how closely Farage patrols these cocktail parties. He says he hardly ever goes, but he’s not chanced on anything to worry about. Still, the bare fact that we’re discussing spying on fellow party members makes me wonder what kind of a bonkers outfit UKIP is
[WELL SPOTTED - Like Ferrets in a sack!].
Admittedly, it’s always been a bit of a Dad’s Army of gambling addicted cab drivers
[Surely Ron Ransome was drink obsessed - what a gambler too!],
depressed publicans

[Indeed! Not the best of chums to have handling publicity or as spokesman let alone PPCs!],
constipated schoolmasters

[Well Deadwood Derek WILL Be Please For The Mention!]
 [or did he mean!!!]
[or even this lad and his sums?]

and second world war re-enactment nuts with unpalatable views on immigration: “the BNP in blazers”.

[Interesting that Farage wished to talk about himself - What a change!!]
Even Farage admits he has made “big mistakes in judgments of character” when it comes to recruitment, a process that tends to take place over long lunches.

Farage readily admits he likes a drink — he’d be quite keen to conduct the interview in the pub, but 10.30am is “too early even for us”, he says, dolefully, glancing at his watch. “Give it 45.” Indeed the booze factor might explain the bizarre involvement of Robert Kilroy-Silk, the professionally irate former chat-show host, who burst onto the party scene in 2004, “to boost the party’s profile”, says Farage, but “suddenly, it all went to his head.” After a ham-fisted attempt on the leadership, Kilroy-Silk left and set up his own gang — sorry, party — Veritas, which spent “six months trying to destroy UKIP”.
[Yes but he did have every justification in being angry after Farage reneged on his PROMISES, prior to the election!]

Farage is now getting revenge in his autobiography, Fighting Bull, tracing his rise from irrepressible south London public-school boy to City metals trader and his current incarnation as single-issue cage rattler.

There are moments of unparalleled pomposity — “Others with my acumen ... would have won brilliant scholarships”, he writes of sitting the 11-plus; addressing 7,000 French farmers, he spoke in “un français parfait” — but much of it is straight bananas. The EU, according to Farage, is a “serial date rapist”: no matter how many times you say no, it only ever hears yes. A discussion of Arabs notes that they have made one outstanding contribution to western culture: the word “alcohol”.

Mostly, however, the book is about settling scores, or, as Farage describes it, “putting my side of the story”. The largest score is Kilroy-Silk, a vain, orange buffoon and “monster”.
[When vain self impressed, insecure talentless popinjay meets bright orange showman in an ego clash such vain men rarely benefit!]

Was Farage, who assumed the party leadership in 2006, a bit jealous of Kilroy-Silk’s profile? “Absolutely not!” he screams. “Absolutely not.” Actually he was “thrilled” and “delighted” that Kilroy-Silk came and stole all the thunder, but then he rather spoils things by going slightly too far, describing it as “before and after the birth of Christ”.

Farage’s current opponent, John Bercow, gets short shrift, too. The Speaker is traditionally unchallenged in parliamentary elections, but in standing against him Farage is trying to give voters an opportunity to “show their disenchantment with the political class”. In the book, Bercow is a “loose cannonball” with past far-right connections — all of which seems a little rich coming from Farage.

“Look,” he says. “I know you’ll laugh at me, but I don’t generally get involved in slagging people off. But he is very pleased with himself . . .”
[How true - he rarely does his own dirty work, as he is fundamentally gutless and without basic OQ or leadership skills - hence the attrocious judge of character and lack of moral fibre!]

Another of the book’s scores is ... well, just that. In 2006 Farage, who has been married twice and has four children, became the target of a tabloid kiss’n’tell when a woman from, of all places, Latvia claimed she had snogged him in a pub in Biggin Hill, Kent, before dragging him home, where he “stunned her with his kinky demands” and they had sex “at least seven times”. The revelation led to several jokes, including “UKIP if you want to”.
[A measure of the man is that NOT ONE SINGLE SOLITARY FRIEND stepped forward to assist him - all looking for ways to ditch him!]

Seven times, I say. Wow. And on half power! Farage looks furtive, clearly searching for a way both to confirm this stunning feat of priapism and to deny it.

“Er ... well,” he says. “Yes. I did have a couple of phone calls, and there are cheers when I turn up at a student union ... but it’s not the sort of thing you plan. It was one of those very, very rare moments where I was ... out of control.”
[Rather like all the others as when John Wittaker resigned as Chairman unprepared to continue telling lies about Annabell Fuller for Farage - as when Dr. Richard North was fired for refusing to do Farage's job for him and even then Farage hid behind Piers Bonde!]

As far as I can see, Farage has these very, very rare moments quite frequently. In 2004 he found himself in a lap-dancing bar during the French presidential campaign — with one of the candidates; in the book he recalls a more serious episode in 1985 when, trudging home somewhat refreshed, he barrelled over the bonnet of an oncoming VW. His blood-alcohol levels were so high he had to be sedated until they were sufficiently low for surgeons to operate.

The accident happened because he had been drinking all day — perfectly normal behaviour, apparently, at a time when “a proper lunch lasted seven, eight hours”, he recalls.

How much did they drink? “Oh, no,” he says. “I’m not doing the William Hague trick.”
Why not? “Because nobody would believe it if I told the truth.”

SADLY
He Has Made This Pair Look Almost As Stupid As Is He
Though He Did Con Them BOTH
Whilst They Conned Him!

Go on! “Well. We’d have drinks before, and then a couple of bottles of red . . .” He ticks his fingers off. “We’d have quite a lot! Of course we would.”

Can he actually remember?

The idea that Farage can’t hold his drink is clearly preposterous. “People that know me well,” he raises his voice, “would tell you that they’ve hardly ever seen me pissed. And I’m rather proud of that.”

But you got run over! “I wasn’t blind drunk,” he says.

“I’d had,” he chortles, “a good day.”

Has he ever worried about alcoholism? His father, also a metals trader, was a terrible alcoholic. “I’ve been lucky,” he says. “I can pack it up for a week and it’s not a problem. It’s how we’re made. My father was made in the way it took him over and it wrecked him. But I’m lucky. I’m one of those people who can take it or leave it.”
[He was Man Enough to make Leiutenant in the RCT Nigel when all you have managed was war games, battle Field booze ups and fiddling with the cuff links of glory in the hope it might make a man of you despite your venal betrayal of UKIP!]

He glances at his watch again, and I think how nice it’d be if he just went to the pub and stayed there for ever, and sure enough he is there two days later when I call his press officer to confirm which testicle he had removed. Farage has just given his party conference speech and is in high spirits. “Tell her to come and find out, ha-ha-ha!” he shouts over the din.

What an ignorant offensive little man he is and how obsessed with himself!

Me, Me, Me, Me - not one single solitary third party or EUkip praised for anything.

How deeply embarrassing for any decent supporters of the old UKIP who are left! If any are.

TO LEAVE THE EU

What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples - they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.

NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.

Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.

The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU's CAP - In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!

To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we thus leave our children and the future, with shame!

I SUGGEST – since there is clearly no political party of repute, advocating or campaigning for withdrawal of these United Kingdoms from the EU and restoration of our independent sovereign, democracy, with Justice & the right to self determination in a free country.

Deny the self seeking & meaningless wanabe MEPs the Mythical Mandate for which they clamour. Diktat is imposed from The EU but Law should be made at Westminster, for our Country & our Peoples.

There has already been a plethora of comments made about 'Nikkigate' and Farage's part therein, but head and shoulders above all other things, this saga, yet again, remind us how utterly foul, nasty, uncooth, unprincipled, treacherous, self-interested,
immoral and vicious Nigel Farage is.

Whatever one might think about Sinclair, she has at least put her hand in her pocket to place funds with the party;  she
even asked Farage to remain as leader because of the lack of alternative (the letter was widely circulated);  she also continues to support Farage in Buckingham and much else too.

Doesn't this tell us that Farage harbours a grudge against Sinclair - whether she is sex-changed or not - and is incapable of any personal loyalty whatsoever - too anyone - ask his wife!

How many Labour and Tory MPs have abused their positions in terms of their financial affairs!  Sinclair has not cheated the taxpayer but Farage?????????   Given that he will not come clean on his vast expenses that he has constantly refused to publish, despite making a promise to do so.  Quite apart from the monies (£100'000's) that have disappeared in his SE Region, one might well ask him, outright, has he stolen the funds.  For if not, where are they?  Why the reluctance to honour his own publicly given pledge?

And at least Sinclair has left the EDF group, showing more courage than people like Nuttall and Farage who openly condemn the BNP but then court worse extremists in the EDF, not just for money, thought hat is important to Nigel, but also because they are not competing with Farage.

Who, in the above light, is more principled - Sinclair or Farage?!

Seriously people, think about that question, and if you come down on the side of Nikki Sinclair, urge your own UKIP MEP to follow Sinclair's example and remove themselves from the EFD!

Best regards

Richard

[edit] Early life and career

Farage was educated at Dulwich College before joining a commodity brokerage firm in London. He ran his own brokerage business from the early 1990s until 2002.

Active in the Conservative Party from his school days until the resignation of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in 1990, he left the party in 1992 when John Major's government signed the Treaty on European Union at Maastricht. He became a founding member of UKIP in 1993 and has contested UK parliamentary elections for UKIP five times. He was elected to the European Parliament in 1999 and re-elected in 2004 and 2009. Farage is currently leader of the thirteen-member UKIP contingent in the European Parliament, and co-leader of the multinational eurosceptic group, Europe of Freedom and Democracy. He also contested the Bromley & Chislehurst constituency during the May 2006 by-election, organised after the Member of Parliament representing it, the eurosceptic Conservative Eric Forth, died. He scored third, winning 8% of the vote, thus beating the Labour Party candidate. This was the second-best by-election result recorded by UKIP out of 25 results.

Farage married first, in 1988, Grainne Hayes, with whom he had two children, Samuel (born 1989) and Thomas (born 1991). In 1999 he married the German Kirsten Mehr, with whom he has a further two children, Victoria (born 2000) and Isabelle (born 2005).[2] Kirsten Farage has at various times been an employee of her husband paid from his allowances around £30,000per annum.
[edit] Leader of UKIP

On 12 September 2006, in a particularly dishonest and divisive leadership election Nigel Farage was elected leader of UKIP with 45% of the vote, 20% ahead of his nearest rival Richard Suchorzewski.[3] He pledged to bring discipline to the party and to maximise UKIP's representation in local, parliamentary and other elections.[citation needed] In a PM programme interview on BBC Radio 4 that day he pledged to end the public perception of UKIP as a single-issue party and to work with allied politicians in the Better Off Out campaign, committing himself not to stand against the MPs who have signed up to that campaign (fifteen in all at this moment! but only 4 UKIP MEPs are listed!).

At his maiden speech, as leader, to the UKIP conference on 8 October 2006, he told delegates that the party was "at the centre-ground of British public opinion" and the "real voice of opposition". Farage said: "We've got three social democratic parties in Britain — Labour, Lib Dem and Conservative are virtually indistinguishable from each other on nearly all the main issues" and "you can't put a cigarette paper between them and that is why there are nine million people who don't vote now in general elections that did back in 1992."[4]

At 10pm on 19 October 2006, Farage took part in a three-hour live interview and phone-in with James Whale on national radio station talkSPORT. Four days later, Whale announced on his show his intention to stand as UKIP's candidate in the 2008 London Mayoral Election. Farage said that Whale "not only has guts, but an understanding of what real people think". However Whale later decided not to stand and UKIP was represented by Gerard Batten.[5]

In September 2009 he announced that he would stand against John Bercow, the newly elected Speaker of the House of Commons, in his Buckingham constituency in the Next United Kingdom general election, despite a convention, broken on previous occasions, as when Labour stood against Sir Bernard Weatherall, that the speaker is outside of party politics, and not challenged for re-election.[6]

In October 2009, he was ranked 41st (out of 100) in the Daily Telegraph Top 100 most influential right-wingers poll, citing his media savvy and his success with UKIP in the European Elections. [7]

The former Europe Minister, [[Denis MacShane]], said that this showed that Farage was "happy to line his pockets with gold". Farage called this a "misrepresentation"{{cite web|url=http://www.ukip.org/content/latest-news/1053-mcshane-misses-the-point-on-expenses |title=McShane misses the point on expenses - UK Independence Party |publisher=Ukip.org |date=2009-05-19 |accessdate=2009-06-08}}, pointing out that the money was for expenses, not salary, but he welcomed the focus on the issue of MEP expenses, claiming that "[o]ver a five year term each and every one of Britain's 78 MEPs gets about £1 million. It is used to employ administrative staff, run their offices and to travel back and forth between their home, Brussels and Strasbourg."{{cite web|url=http://www.ukip.org/content/latest-news/1068-mep-expense-spotlight-turns-focus-to-eu |title=MEP expense spotlight turns focus to EU - UK Independence Party |publisher=Ukip.org |date=2009-05-25 |accessdate=2009-06-08}}

Something Stinks At Top Of UKIP

The only part of this story that everyone agrees on is that the UKIP Treasurer, formerly the EU's Head Accountant, Marta Andreasen, and the Party Leader Nigel Farage have both resigned from their roles within UKIP a few days apart from each other. That's where clarity ends.

Such a coincidence of resignations, one at Party Conference and one just after, arouses curiosity naturally enough. But when the Treasurer's reasons for resigning are denied by Nigel Farage, suspicion is increased that someone might be hiding something. What exactly is going on?

When Andreasen was asked why she was resigning, she stated, as published in today's Times that she objected to the way that money was being wasted, and being handed to friends of the Chairman, beyond the operational rules of the Party. It was a pretty serious allegation, which The Times replicated in its report.

The BBC, on the other hand, keen as always to present UKIP as whiter than white, or rather as unracist and uncorrupt as it can, (as UKIP takes votes from David Cameron and the Conservatives) tells a completely different story.

From the BBC -

Mr Farage told the BBC he had not expected "Marta to stay on very long as party treasurer anyway, as she is now an MEP and busting EU fraud is a full-time job".
He added: "She is on the budget control committee here in the European Parliament - and that's the last place the European institutions want her to be.
"That job was always going to take priority over her being treasurer. As I have learnt myself, I have found being the leader of the group in the Parliament and party leader in the UK and I have found it too much.
"Similarly Marta has a big job here and in the UK and that's really why she's gone."

Well, Mr Farage, that sounds very convincing like everything else you say, but it wasn't what Marta Andreasen said.

Dare I suggest such a thing but it appears that Nigel Farage is lying, and the version given by Andreasen stands out as the true reason she resigned.

With Farage paddling like mad to cover up the true story of Marta Andreasen's resignation from UKIP, you start to wonder if there might be a little more to the Farage resignation that has yet spilled out.

Maybe he too has had enough of the internal corruption in the Party and wants to distance himself in time before any story breaks. The media are not far behind and are constantly asking questions relating to his admitted unaccounted for £2 million expenses over ten years. Where were they spent exactly?

If the Chairman is the one implicated in Andreasen's allegations, why is Farage the one straining to make the cover-up? It's all very odd, you have to admit.

As so often in the past, one is forced to the conclusion that something stinks at the very top of UKIP, and as the Party grows, it appears the smell is getting stronger. Appointing a known whistle blower to the position of Treasurer might in retrospect be seen to have been a foolish move for an organisation, where the rule book is regarded as something written purely to fool outsiders.

Times sourced report giving Andreasen's reasons for going -

Ms Andreasen told party leaders she was quitting during an executive meeting where she pointed the finger at Paul Nuttall, the party chairman, for pushing through decisions she could not support.

“I resigned because I disagree with how the party is being managed at the level of the chairmanship,” Ms Andreasen told a newspaper.

“There have been certain breaches in the procedures that I have implemented; therefore I warned the NEC [National Executive Committee] this is not the way I want to handle the finances of the party.

“I do not want to see funds being wasted, and the management of this party needs to wake up,” she added.

Ms Andreasen’s resignation from her post — but not from her seat in the European Parliament — has exposed deep internal tensions in UKIP as it starts a leadership campaign to replace Mr Farage. He announced his resignation as party leader during the lacklustre UKIP conference over the past weekend.

Mr Nuttall is seen as a possible replacement for Mr Farage. However, Ms Andreasen said that the last straw came when Mr Nuttall wanted to double the salary of an official without her approval.

'MORE SOURCES' ON FARAGE'S AFFAIRS - written pre his resignation by political opponents.

The astonishing news that Nigel Farage, UKIP leader, has claimed £2 million in taxpayer funded expenses from the EU Parliament over 10 years dwarfs the misconduct by Westminster MPs.

1. Why does UKIP refuse to publish its MEPs’ EU expense claims? It is hypocritical that UKIP should condemn the EU for failing to sign off its accounts while refusing to detail its MEPs’ use of taxpayers’ funds.

2. When will Farage publish his expense claims so that voters may learn how he has claimed £2,000,000 in 10 years? What is he hiding? Even Tory MEPs now publish their EU expense accounts.

3. What happened to UKIP supporters’ donations? Between 2003-5, nearly 90% of donations into UKIP’s Ashford Call Centre disappeared in administration costs. Another £200,000+ disappeared in Farage’s SE Region in ‘other costs’ (see Electoral Commission website). Demands for audits have been rejected by Farage. Why? What is being hidden?

4. On 27.1.05, why did UKIP MEPs vote to support a motion whose subtext called for ‘closer political, economic and social integration’ with the EU, for brainwashing in schools and for the outlawing of ‘xenophobia’, a thought-crime defined by the EU as merely an aversion to the Euro? UKIP MEPs, who breached their own party constitution, neither apologised nor renounced this treachery.

5. Why, in early 2007, did UKIP MEP Derek Clark sign an agreement in Bucharest endorsing subsidiarity and the Common Agricultural Policy? Roger Knapman, ex UKIP leader, refused to accept such a “. . .major departure from what we believed to be UKIP’s policy - withdrawal from the EU, a complete rejection of its authority and of the CAP. Subsidiarity is an EU doctrine which assumes EU sovereignty. . . Accepting subsidiarity accepts ultimate EU sovereignty.”

6. Why does the foreign Marta Andreasen (Farage’s number two in the SE) merely desire reform of the EU and not withdrawal?

This is what senior UKIP officials have stated of Farage and UKIP:

Craig Mackinlay, ex Vice Chairman UKIP, on internal UKIP elections: “I will not be associated professionally or personally with what has become a perverted and shambolic process. Threats from the Party Chairman . . . merely add to the stink that now surrounds this election.”

(Tapestry - I've heard these allegations elsewhere from sources who would know, and I believe all UKIP internal elections are rigged)

Richard North, ex UKIP Chief Researcher, writing of Farage: “He cannot tolerate anyone in the party who he feels is or might be in a position to challenge him. He prefers to surround himself with incompetents and deadbeats. Anyone who emerges who might show an independent streak, he ruthlessly eliminates, to ensure that they cannot be seen as competition.”

(Tapestry - Richard North might well be right but he was bitter at being blocked from becoming an MEP. He would have been a formidable one - especially campaigning on military affairs. But Richard is a very strong character and he might not be liked in a small tream.)

And again: “(Farage) . . . spends the bulk of his time manoeuvring and scheming to keep himself in the dominant position, while presenting to the world his “boyish charm.”

(Tapestry - I would agree with this statement, but NF is capable of great charm, and is an overall strenth to the eurosceptic movement. I don't see him as the primary source of UKIP's appalling structure, but people he cannot get rid of even if he wanted to)

Bryan Smalley, Party Secretary for two years, wrote of Farage: “He is dishonest and frequently makes untrue statements.”

(Tapestry - a politician lying ? Well yes. Nigel Farage is one of the best )

Anthony Scholefield, Party Secretary for three years stated: “A disturbing feature is that Mark Croucher, UKIP Press Officer, shows UKIP members’ details to Communists and Socialist Workers via Searchlight and Unite Against Fascism. Croucher reports to Farage.” (Tapestry - no idea but wouldn't be surprised )

Anthony Butcher, ex NEC member: “UKIP is now a hindrance to the anti-EU movement.”

(Tapestry - it's more complicated than that)

David Abbott, ex NEC member and committed Christian: “Our leader issues an edict that MEP’s wives must not be on the MEP’s payroll. Then he is caught paying his own wife.”
And again: “These new revelations were on top of all his (ie Farage) more obvious defects including total amorality, bullying, adultery, and drunkenness, vengefulness and lying.”

(Tapestry - who cares what he drinks and what he shags. But lying about expenses is clearly not a good idea these days !!!)

Roger Knapman, ex Party Leader and MEP: “UKIP MEP’s met and agreed a statement of practice - first that we would not go on ‘junkets’ to other countries and secondly that we would not employ our wives. This was to prevent us getting dragged into the comfortable EU world that leads to ‘going native’. I am now very worried that this agreement is being ignored and that the attractions of the European Parliament as a career may beckon to some; where the delights of plush new office suites, Brussels titles and internal parliament or IndDem Group politics are more attractive than our original purpose.”

(Tapestry - Roger should know, but then he was only kept on as leader to provide a respectable front for the rogues who really run the party like Natrass and Farage, whose regions are their fiefdoms)

Robin Page: “The party created to fight centralised government, sleaze and corruption has become a mirror image of the body it professes to loathe.”
(Tapestry - correct)

Clean EUkip up NOW & make UKIP electable!

The corruption of some of EUkip’s leadership

a bad name!

EUkip Needs A Competent Leader With Leadership Skills Fairly & Honestly Elected Not A Spiv or a Barrow Boy Who Stole The Position By Dishonesty, Corruption, Lies & Use Of Other Peoples' (Members) Money - Aided by extremist Political organisations and their supporters whether BNP or Searchlight, Stormfront or any other form of intollerance.

Three Cheers for Nigel Farage?? ONE CAN DUPE THE UNINFORMED!

Three Cheers for Nigel Farage

I STAND IN AWE of Nigel Farage. He is the oratorical master of the European Parliament, which, of course, doesn’t count for much since about as much attention is paid to the European Parliament as was to the Reichstag in Nazi Germany. This is despite the fact that the majority of laws passed by the Parliament of the United Kingdom are not actually initiated by British MPs, but rather rubber-stamped from Brussels on high.

If you’re asking yourself “Who is this fellow?”, then I should tell you that Farage is the somewhat-hokey leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party, the party which should get the votes of all visitors of this site. These days, one should be a Tory every day of the year except Election Day. The next general election is especially important as it must be proved to the bigwigs in the Conservative Party that Europe matters. Labour will likely win the next election anyhow (it’s even possible for the Tories to have 10% more of the popular vote but still come out with fewer seats than Labour), and the more seats that the Tories lose because....

To continue reading this article you will need to visit Andrew Cusack's excellent Blog, where you can also add to the comments section to do so CLICK HERE

It is a lengthy article with many links and also carries the now well publicised disingenuous photograph of Nigel Farage, standing in a puddle on a building site, which Mark Croucher claims to have taken several years ago and seeded, without any attempt to protect or even display his copyright.

He has thus provided it as effectively a public domain picture, hence it has been used - as it was originally intended - as a publicity photo when Croucher was employed by the EU in some publicity capacity.

The picture can be found uncreditted, un attributed and unprotected as it was published on Google Images and many other sites. Here is the copy used by Andrew Cusack:

On Andrew Cusack's Blog I have posted the following two comments:

Hi,

for a great deal more background on Nigel Farage you may well find:
http:CaterpillarsAndButterflies.Blogspot.com of more than passing interest!

Farage’s self serving conceit and propensity for talking to camera in empty rooms in a pretence of robust debate is little more than childish ego driven bragadoccio.

Farage has done a great deal to damage The EUroSceptic movement by undermining its credibility with lies in his own interest - sadly The EU gives him £Millions with which to pay Praise Singers and sychophants.

Sadly one can always find dishonest little men to lie for one when the rewards are liberal - he has done much to promote The BNP whilst cozying up through Mark Croucher, his personal spin liar, to the extremist and vile Searchlight organisation.

Farage has for several years now chaired the pro EU Ind.De.Group in the EU pretend Parliament with its total lack, NOT just a deficit, of Democracy.

I trust you will have no objection that I have linked with this article from my site.

Hi,

Liz Smith said:
UKIP? Neo-fascist? You’ve got to be kidding me! UKIP are more moderate than Labour and the Lib-Dems who want to remake the whole of Britain in their image. Sadly, thanks to the leftward drift of the Conservative Party’s leaders, UKIP will soon be more moderate then them too.

The fact that you feel the need to call them “neofascist” shows how desperate you are! Why not make an argument against their specific policies or positions?

Sadly she seems to have noted the froth on top of the glass but not the foam of rat poisin below!

Farage gained control of EUkip through the lies and corruption of a small claque and with the use of a great deal of Party cash.

This led to a collapse of membership from around 30,000 to somewhere short of 10,000 where many of the risidual members were ‘the armchair’ uninformed vote and his corruption has led to an exodus of the activists and the making of many legitimate and honest enemies.

In the latter half of last year realising the party was heading for the rocks Farage opted to construct a ‘Reichstag Fire’ moment - so VERY redollent of the politics of The EU with a beneficial crisis!!

Farage and a small group of his fantasists invented the fantasy of a BNP infiltration based on the most febrile of plots - to this day he has not named a single serious BNP infiltrator! He LIED.

This has given rise to the possibility through a ‘Crystal Nacht’ orf removing elected Officers who demanded probity and honest accounts based on transparency.

Farage has taken a lurch back into a dark ages of politics centralising power as an authoritarian and neo fascist style (or if you prefer BNP style) form of management as a personalised feifdom.

Farage is very plausible, an excellent performer at times as are often moral dyslexics as they believe their own fantasies.

EUkip were heading for 0-3 MEPs until they became the dustbin of the protest votes over the abuse of expenses at Westminster and the dominance of the hugely unpopular Brown Government faced by the wet and venal Tories as an opposition.

The EU elections on June 4th. are all about Westminster protest and have absolutely ignored the EU and its vile corruption from which Farage boasts to have ‘lifted’ over £2M in unaccounted claims - when questioned by The Sun newspaper he confessed he hadn’t a clue what happened to this not inconsequential tranche of tax payers' money.

All is not what it seems in Britain under the dictatorship of the reveilled dictatorship in Brusells!

Greg L-W.

TO LEAVE THE EU

What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.

To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we leave our children and the future, with shame!

#NF007* - Nigel FARAGE's EUkip HAS MUCH TO ACCOUNT

#NFoo7* - Nigel FARAGE's EUkip HAS MUCH TO ACCOUNT

Clean EUkip up NOW & make UKIP electable!

The corruption of some of EUkip’s leadership
& NEC is what gives the remaining 10%
a bad name!

EUkip HAS MUCH TO ACCOUNT & NEAR TOTAL OBFUSCATION!

SOMETHING OF A ROUND UP ON FINANCES
By No Means Comprehensive!

It is extraordinary that the very Party that seems to have benefited most from the media driven false Parliamentary expenses scandal is the most tainted of all in the matter of shoddy accounting and obfuscation of the handling of money – The Farage Party sometimes known as EUkip.

The focus of attention has been on the 2.1/2 main parties at Westminster.

Yes there has been much folly in the administration and payment of 'SECONDARY ALLOWANCES' at Westminster, though exceeding profitable for the Press it has done little for our Parliament who had foolishly found themselves in this position - largely due to the clear and undeniable stupidity and incompetence of The Speaker and Gordon Brown in their handling of the very reasonable application under the FOI Act.

Every aspect of the handling of this matter has shown Gorbles Mick and Prudence to be clearly incompetent to the offices they hold/held and their latest efforts in trying to remedy their follies has led to a feeding frenzy for the media and the realisation that they haven't the vaguest clue either what their job is or what the Constitutional position of OUR Parliament is!

This has left the utterly false impression that the only “clean” parties are the smaller ones. EUkip has by default seen its support in opinion polls treble as it rides this wave. Events dear boy, events! clearly this is just inflation of a particularly rancid bubble!

The reality is EUkip is riddled with allegations of financial fiddles, and a general atmosphere of untrustworthy behaviour, inculcating a deserved complete lack of trust amongst many who would wish to support it and many of these fiddles seem proven. Some are to do with the Party’s finances but this Blog deals with its MEPs.

It is worth noting that of the 12 UKIP MEPs elected in 2004, only 8 remain in the EUkip EU Parliamentary delegation of today.

Of the 12:

one was sent to prison,

one has been charged with false accounting and money laundering,

three have had to pay back misclaimed money

and

three have faced investigations by the EU fraud-busters OLAF.

Additionally only one EUkip MEP has been prepared to publish his expenses details.

Minded that we have written much on the corruption amongst EUkip's leadership, here is a selection of facts, backed with supporting evidence:

1. ASHLEY MOTE MEP.

He was elected as a UKIP MEP for the South-East in 2004.
He had been charged prior to this with housing benefit fraud.
His case eventually came to court and he was found guilty.
He was given a 9 months prison sentence but continued to serve as an MEP.
EUkip did attempt to distance itself from Mote, but only after the charges became public. He had been a welcome candidate, parachuted in above David lott presumably as Farage felt he would, as the No. 2 candidate, enhance Farage's own position.

Ashley was elected under the UKIP label.
(Relevant details are widely available on this Blog and on the web from newspaper sites etc.)

2. TOM WISE MEP.

Elected as a EUkip MEP for the unfortunate Eastern region.
He was exposed over his expenses claims and after an OLAF investigation the information was passed to the British police (Ian Williams of Bedfordshire Constabulary).
Wise was investigated and subsequently charged, with his researcher Lindsay Jenkins, false accounting and money laundering and is due in court the day after the European election results are declared (08-Jun-2009). .
(All details are widely available on this Blog and the web from newspaper sites).

EUkip leader Nigel Farage has claimed that Wise was expelled from EUkip immediately the matter arose.
This is totally false and an outright lie by Nigel Farage, it is not even a distortion of facts IT IS A LIE.
Tom Wise remained a member of EUkip until March 2009 when he chose to allow his membership to lapse. (Both Tom Wise and EUkip HQ can confirm this and you will note I published the letter from EUkip HQ signed by David Challis and dated in February reminding Wise to renew his membership and thanking him for his support whilst soliciting a donation! In early April EUkip HQ phoned Wise at home and spoke with his wife by name asking her for a donation towards the election!!!).
For a considerable time after the first allegations he was fully supported by EUkip, including after various internal inquiries.
Wise was later excluded from EUkip’s delegation in the European Parliament in a mutually advantageous and utterly duplicitous deal - Farage being a Chairman of the pro EU Ind.DemGroup was able to give him promotion within the EUkip/Ind.Dem.Group (he became a vice-president thereby enhancing his status and financial position!!).
Wise remained an elected EUkip MEP, a Branch Chairman and a party member until earlier this year.
(Former EUkip leader Roger Knapman MEP can to confirm all of this as it was he who duplicitously orchestrated some of the cover-ups! as could Trevor Colman who prostituted his Queens Commission as a senior Police Officer (rtd.), seemingly in return for preferment as No. 1 candidate in the SW and Piers Merchant who assisted in carrying out an internal inquiry and colluded in his criminality by orchestrating a cover-up).

3. Derek Clarke MEP.

He was elected as a EUkip MEP for the East Midlands in 2004.
He is currently under investigation by the EU’s anti-fraud body OLAF.
It is not known exactly why.
However it would seem to be fraud related and involve money laundering and it is claimed that Derek Clark uses EP money to employ a person (Andrew Fear) who in fact works as a membership officer for UKIP in the party headquarters in Devon and who does no work for Clark as an MEP.
Clark also paid for Niall Warry in a purely political position failing to tell Warry that his employment was fraudulently funded!
This is clearly known to be against EU expenses rules.
Derek Clark OLAF Case Number: D/007/033/04.09.08
Derek Clark OLAF Investigation Number: DD/FD-D2008.A1/7133/OF/2008/0240

4. Jeffrey Titford MEP.

Titford has been EUkip MEP for the Eastern region since 1999, when he was put in position by the circulation of a letter written by Christopher Booker & Bill Jamieson and circulated to ALL members by myself and also another more explanatory and detailed letter which I wrote and also circulated to all members.
Titford was a classic example of making the mistake of advocating voting for the lesser of several evils!

Titford has also been under investigation by OLAF.
He also has previously “employed” at least one person who was in fact working for the Party in the North East, Stephen Allison, although this arrangement was hurriedly terminated about two years ago when it was apparent OLAF & The Police were determined to bring Wise to Court.

Jeffrey Titford:

OLAF OF/2008/0764/Titford.

East Anglian Daily Times report said:
'last night OLAF - the European Parliament's Anti-Fraud Office - confirmed that the Essex Police decision had not ended the matter. "We have opened a file and we are taking steps to
gather all relevant information for an investigation,” said the spokesman.

5. Nigel Farage MEP.

MEP for the South East since 1999.
Farage became leader having taken advantage of corruption of the leadership election by:
Douglas Denny who was dumped by a majority vote of the NEC from the position of Returning Officer for dishonesty and deliberate corruption of the electoral process and abuse of his position and trust.
The new Returning Officer Geoffrey Kingscott is believed to have been promised General Secretary if Farage was elected and did virtually nothing to maintain a level playing field.
Annabell Fuller who went to hustings across Britain and introduced hersel as a press officer and lied and besmirched other leading candidates for Farage spreading unfounded (untrue) rumours of BNP membership and/or support!
This theme was aided and added to by the indisputable racist obsessions and lies of Mark Croucher.
David Lott & Jim Carver colluded in an attempt to undermine and attack a leading candidate.
David Lott, whilst employed by Farage mailed out attacks and praise to the oleagenous advantage of Farage filled with lies and distortion using privileged access to EUkip mailing lists and computers!
John Moran considered to be a funded placeman of Farage's mailed out extensive lies to corrupt the election in favour of Farage.
Toby Mickelthwaite issued a letter corrupting the election by damning a lead candidate with faint praise.
EACH of these individuals were members in well placed positions or salaried staff dishonestly and corruptly aiding Farage to cheat to become leader.

Clearly - he who controls the cash would seem to control the weak and the dishonest with some ease!

Farage is believed to be under investigation, or has been investigated, by OLAF, both in his personal capacity as an MEP or in his role as co-leader of the IndDem Group over financial matters related to the pro EU Ind.Dem Group, which he chairs. OLAF were certainly making inquiries in February 2009.

Further when the Sunday Times published an article about Farage to which he took exception which showed again his hypocracy - claiming that he was employing his son and was under investigation by OLAF. Farage was unable to set aside the certainty of his hypocracy as he had already been exposed dishonestly employing his wife - well paying her with tax payers money and since neither his Political Assistant nor his Regional Organiser had any idea that she was on the payroll and clearly she was thus doing no meaningful work!

The Sunday Times had proved his hypocracy and dishonesty though they were happy to apologise for the inaccuracy of their comment regarding his son, the misunderstanding had come about as the result, I believe, of £10,000 paid to Farage by Graham Booth with which to buy a car and the perception this money went to Farage's son - the Sunday Times were unable to fully corroborate this position or that attempts had been made to gain funding for Farage's son from Trago Mills.

Interestingly however Carter Ruck, acting on Farage's behalf were forced to write a letter of correction and apology that although they had denied it Farage WAS under investigation by OLAF.

We understand the compensation paid to Farage was a fraction of his initial claim and relatively reliable sources inform us that the sum received did not cover the costs gained by Farage and he had clearly lost his claim on a substantive part of the claim.

6. Both Jeffrey Titford and Nigel Farage

were caught out in the 1999-2004 Parliament for the misuse of expenses and had to pay back wrongly-claimed money. (Not certain where this can be confirmed but it is common knowledge within UKIP)

7. Former leader Roger Knapman MEP

Elected for the South West in 2004, is the only EUkip MEP who has published details of his expenses which can be seen on his website.
He has consistently offered to publish all details regularly and has advocated total transparency but as a leader was too weak and disorganised to actually carry the concept forward and left his Chairman Petrina Holdsworth high and dry most dishonourably when she acted to implement transparency. Knapman's betrayal led to Holdsworth's resignation as Chairman as he had totally undermined her authority.
He has criticised a culture of secrecy within EUkip but lacked the courage or integrity to act dithering for years, to the embarrassment of those who tried to assist him as he repeatedly 'bottled out' in the most venal and shameful manner.
In 2008 he finally plucked up the integrity to resigned from the UKIP delegation at Brussels as a protest over financial mismanagement and EUkip’s involvement with the Ind.Dem.Group. However he remained a member of EUkip, ineffectually faffing around like a myopic chicken.(many can confirm this - he has been utterly inconsequential in EUkip since damagingly orchestratic cover-ups of Wise and his criminality, his betrayal of Holdsworth's attempt to clean up the party and his self serving hypocracy employing Poles in prefference to British workers and promoting his family People Traffiking business.

8. Robert Kilroy-Silk MEP

RKS was elected for East Midlands in 2004, after being parachuted in as No. 2 on the list which he accepted based on lies from Nigel Farage, which came back to haunt the party due to the complete incompetence or Officer Qualities of Farage.
RKS resigned from EUkip altogether early in the Parliament in disgust at the dishonesty describing EUkip's leadership as 'A bunch of Nutters'. One of his concerns was EUkip’s financial mis-management, which as an individual of substance he was unwilling to be held responsible for with no control. (Comments were openly made at the time)

9. Nigel Farage’s expenses.

Farage boasted that he had made £2m from expenses in a speech and this was later repeated by Denis McShane MP on the BBC’s Politics Today on 19 May.

Much detail is to be found if you CLICK HERE or LINK HERE and many more.
Farage has quickly attempted to row back from this gaff, made most likely under the influence of alcohol (in vino veritas).
However his statement (apologia!), which can be viewed if you CLICK HERE, is itself misleading. He claims he covers the cost of his “regional office.” In fact his own entry in the MEP’s register of interests reveals that the office is Free Of Charge and a donation (made by Julia Longhurst).
He has previously confirmed that he employs his wife (contrary to rules made by him and his own delegation in 2004 as a pledge to the electorate).
Farage has never explained precisely what his wife does for this £25,000 a year and no one else in EUkip appears to have any idea.
He claims to have used expenses to travel to meetings around the UK, although the NEC voted him a party budget for this purpose. (Former NEC members can confirm this, though I question anyone on the NEC now could be trusted, based on their track record of dishonesty and corruption!)

MEP’s EXPENSES

As a brief guide, which is far from complete as I have not included the huge scam based on pensions that most MEPs seem to enrich themselves with!

This is what UKIP MEPs can claim in expenses.
Do note the sterling amounts are approximate because of exchange rate variations etc.

This guide is based on the latest 2009 figures from the EU for a full year:

(A) Parliamentary Assistance Allowance
To employ or contract staff in the UK.
A job description must be given.
The staff must work for the MEP on his duties, not be transferred to a political party or elsewhere and must not engage in election work.
£175,920

(B) General Expenditure Allowance
To pay for a UK office (but not staff), UK travel, communication equipment.
May not be used to cover peronsal expenses or political subsidies.
£42,144

(C) Annual Travel Allowance
This is available for world travel and can also be used for hotels if undertaken “in the performance of their duties.”
This is generously interpreted and covers most foreign jollies.
Despite an agreement by EUkip MEPs in 2004 not to use this allowance, many EUkip MEPs have participated liberally in such jollies which can be incorporated into foreign holidays.
This allowance may NOT be used for travel within the UK.
Amount: £3,467

(D) Subsistence Allowance
A daily allowance for when in Brussels.
£249 per day. Most MEPs will spend four days a week in Brussels or Strasbourg , three out of every four weeks on average.
Annualised on that basis this amounts to £38,844

(E) A Travel Allowance to Brussels/Strasbourg
(in addition to the Annual Travel Allowance)

A fixed rate is paid calculated on the cost of travel from the constituency based on figures well above the real cost of cheap-rate travel.
Thus most MEPs are able to make a substantial profit by claiming the full fixed rate but actually travelling cut-price.
Profit can be as much as £800 per return journey. Thus a EUkip MEP could make as much as £31,200 a year in profit alone.
The total allowance in this case would be around £39,000.
Note this is very variable depending on the distance of the UK constituency from Brussels and the availability of cut-price flights or rail. (NB As many UKIP MEPs are over 60 they use senior citizens discounts to drive down the real cost of travel and can choose times of travel where the lowest price tickets are available).

(F) Free Medical care

All MEPs receive comprehensive free private medical care including dental treatment and free prescriptions. This also extends to spouse and dependent children. This perk includes “thermal cures,” acupuncture and transport costs. There are some limits – only 60 sessions are allowed for the following, among others: mud baths, hydromassage, electrotherapy, radar, ionisation, and only 30 sessions of aerosol therapy and irrigation.

Contact lenses are included as are hearing aids and artifical limbs as well as false teeth, gold crowns and veneers. The cost is dependent on how much medical help is needed but it does include a variety of health checks and scans for perfectly-healthy MEPs.

(G) Free insurance

MEPs receive free life assurance and accident insurance, and a generous
invalidity pension.

(H) Free language and computer courses
Free and unlimited hours with teachers at EP or a fixed allowance for teachers at home (including one to one) for lessons in five main EU languages. Also free computer lessons up to a maximum amount anywhere in UK or at EP

(I) Retirement pension
UK MEPs are entitled to the same generous pension that MPs receive.
They may also top this up under the additional voluntary scheme.
Under this for every £1 paid in by the MEP, the EU adds £2.
Many MEPs apparently pay £4,000 of their own allowances into this fund per month - it is tax free!

(J) Salary
And, of course, MEPs receive a salary which is the same as MPs.
They do pay tax on this, which of course they do not on any of their allowances,
including those which openly make a profit (eg travel to Brussels allowance).
Salary £63,000pa

Various additions pertain for Group Chairmen, Party leaders, Vice Chairmen etc.

Certain allocations are made through Groups in addition, clearly it is possible to skim these - thus a % of travel or salary for others could be syphoned off.

Consider the £250,000 from The Ind.Dem.Group which was obtained for a petition which never took place and seemingly the money was never accounted and may well have been trousered.
